Rabada & Co. bundles out Sri Lanka after Quinton de Kock’s delightful knock
South Africa defeated Sri Lanka by 113 runs in the second One-Day Internationals on Wednesday to take a 2-0 lead in the five-game series.
Chasing a target of 252, the visitors were bundled out for 138 in 32.2 overs with Kagiso Rabada scalping three wickets, while Lungi Ngidi, Anrich Nortje and Imran Tahir picked two apiece.
Earlier, all-rounder Thisara Perera sparked a turnaround for Sri Lanka with three for 26 as the host was bowled out for 251 after being sent in.
The highlight of the innings was Quinton de Kock’s punishing 94 (70b, 17×4, 1×6) and Faf du Plessis’ 57.
