Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M) introduced Apple CarPlay connectivity feature in its recently-launched Marazzo MPV.
Mahindra Marazzo MPV gets Apple CarPlay connectivity featureApple CarPlay offers easy access to phone calls, music and Siri Search by seamlessly connecting the user’s Apple iPhone with the infotainment system of the vehicle. It automatically organizes useful information such as phone contacts and call logs from the user’s iPhone into a simple user interface that appears on the infotainment system display.
The Marazzo’s infotainment system already comes with, integrated steering controls, Android Auto, GPS-enabled navigation and voice-activated actions, such as SMS read out.
The MPV comes in seven- and eight- seater interior configurations with captain type and bench type middle row seats respectively. The company said that the interior of the car has been designed for a spacious, plusher experience and it gets uniquely designed roof-mounted rear AC vents for better cooling.
The exterior of the Marazzo, as per Mahindra, is inspired by the agility of a shark and the model features a host of shark inspired features including the headlamps, front grille, tail lamps, alloy wheels and the antenna.
It is powered by an all-new 123PS, 1.5-litre diesel powertrain which delivers a peak torque of 300Nm. The engine comes mated to a six-speed manual transmission and claims to return a fuel efficiency of 17.3kmpl.
Dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, brake assist and Isofix child seat mounts are among the standard safety features of the Mahindra Marazzo. The MPV comes in four seven-seater and three eight-seater variants, priced between Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 13.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It competes with the likes of the Toyota Innova and the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.
