New Delhi: Even as India fights the coronavirus outbreak along with the rest of the world, there is some good news among the gloom as the country has registered some amount of success in the fight against the dreaded disease.

According to the latest figures, the number of patients who have been cured of the COVID-19 virus in India has reason to 14.

Although the dreaded coronavirus has spread all over the world, India – for now at least – has managed to control the spread of the disease.

According to experts, as soon as coronavirus began to spread in China, the scientists of India sensed the danger and started working towards its removal.

The result of this is that India is far ahead of China, America, Japan and Thailand as far as finding a cure for COVID-19 is concerned.

The total number of coronavirus cases in India has reached 148 with 130 active cases as of Wednesday morning, the Union Health Ministry said.

These include 123 Indians and 25 foreigners, according to the ministry.

“The total number of active COVID-19 cases across India is 130 as on Wednesday till 9.00 a.m.,” the Union Health Ministry said.

Earlier this week, with three patients from Rajasthan cured, the total number of patients cured from coronavirus had reached 13 in India.

With the increase in the load of screening samples for the coronavirus (COVID-19) from suspected cases with symptoms and travel history to the affected countries, a total of 52 testing sites have been commissioned across the country with two of it in Delhi.

Along with these 52 labs, 57 laboratories are helping in sample collection for the COVID-19.
